Rosie Privitera Biondo, President and CEO of Mark One Electric Company, Inc., delivered a rousing presentation to the powerful women of the KCK Chamber’s Women’s Executive Network last Wednesday night.
The presentation and networking, which took place at Mark One Electric Company, was presented by the chamber’s Women’s Executive Network as one of their quarterly events. The network “aims to connect, empower and position women for continued success through high profile networking, professional development, and access to regional board opportunities.”
Biondo spoke about her upbringing and strong work ethic. These qualities helped her to work her way to the top of the company.
“You should always stay true to yourself,” said Biondo to the group.
Mark One Electric Company has been operated by the Privitera family since 1974. In 1994, Carl and Josephine Privitera passed the company down to their children. Biondo was named president. Her three brothers assumed vice president positions.
According to the company website, the nine grandchildren of Carl and Josephine are beginning to show interest in the company. Biondo hopes the business can stay in the family.
“I will forever treasure the time I spent working with my dad, and I hope my son, nieces and nephews will have memories like that, too. We’re really building a legacy.”
