A Message from Renee Hadley, President/CEO

April brought meaningful opportunities to connect, and I’m optimistic about what lies ahead. This past month, we experienced significant progress and heartfelt connections that continue to demonstrate the strength and unity of our community.

At our Congressional Forum luncheon, we heard timely updates on the Mayor’s WYCO World Cup Readiness Taskforce. With fewer than 400 days until the World Cup arrives in Kansas City, preparations are well underway, and the excitement is growing.

Our visit to Topeka was a historic milestone as we joined in celebrating Governor Kelly’s signing of landmark Early Childcare legislation. This pivotal bill represents a major step toward ensuring access to quality childcare for families across Kansas.

The Women’s Chamber Network event on Financial Empowerment was a resounding success, providing valuable insights and resources to support financial growth and stability within our community.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to welcome everyone to our annual Golf Tournament on May 21. It promises to be a day filled with camaraderie, friendly competition, and connection. Spots are filling fast—don’t miss your chance to be part of the action!
